Hi, my name is Sandy, and I’m a registered psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, life coach, mindfulness facilitator, reiki master and shamanic healer. Yup, that's lots of titles, but the bottom line is that I see myself as a healer and change-making facilitator. If you’ve found this website, chances are you’ve realized that you’re ready to make some changes in your life.
I provide solutions-focused psychotherapy and life coaching that is primarily grounded in the practice of mindfulness and acceptance based strategies. I believe that you already have the inner wisdom needed to achieve your wellbeing and happiness; my role is to shine a light on your strengths, and guide you through a process of self-inquiry that will increase your insight, and help you feel more empowered to make lasting, positive changes in your life.
I have experience working with adults who are faced with a variety of life’s challenges – like depression, anxiety, trauma, and day-to-day stress. Other clients I’ve worked with have sought help with me regarding their sense of self-worth, life purpose, life transitions, illness, family conflict, vocational stress, or spirituality.
Whatever the challenge that you’re currently facing, my general approach in working with you is one of acceptance, collaboration, openness, and most of all compassion. I am fluently English and French bilingual; and I work with adults of all ages, cultures, races, genders, and sexual orientations.
My psychotherapy services are covered by most Canadian extended health insurance plans, as my practice is supervised by a registered psychologist. I am licensed to practice as a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
I live and work in the busy "hustle and bussle" of downtown Toronto, where it always seems like everyone is on the metaphorical treadmill of a go-go-go lifestyle. I firmly believe in the body-mind-spirit connection; and as such, I am committed to my personal daily spiritual and mindfulness practice of 25+ years. My twice-daily meditation practice in my dedicated meditation space at home, coupled with my conscious decision to embody all aspects of everyday mindfulness (which you can follow on my Instagram) are keys to my sense of overall life satisfaction.

I've just published a new self-reflection journal and am so proud to share it with you! It's a colourful journal filled with over 80 self-reflection prompts and mandalas (which I drew myself) to help you get in touch with yourself and live a more mindful life. I created it as a powerful supplemental tool to the work that we would be doing together in sessions.
